Anatomical Focus of This PFE25™ Protocol

The three thumbnails below display the PFE25™ placements for this protocol. At present, this is the only protocol available for this anatomic area.

Supports right IT band comfort and knee tracking through targeted lateral femoral nerve pathway and thoracolumbar coordination approaches.
Placement Protocol ulr7.3.1
This protocol is designed for use with three PFE25™ units at the same time.

This image shows three PFE25™ units being used simultaneously, following the placement instructions outlined in this protocol.
PFE25™ wellness placement overview for right IT band comfort support

1. Primary Placement

Location: Right IT Band

Purpose: Supports local IT band tissue fiber wellness and lateral femoral nerve pathway comfort for direct lateral thigh wellness and flexibility.

Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array over the right IT band region, along the lateral (outer) side of the thigh, approximately midway between the hip and knee. The array can be placed on the skin or up to 1 inch away, and works effectively through clothing and other non-magnetic materials. This targets the iliotibial band tissue fibers, lateral femoral cutaneous nerve branches, and tensor fasciae latae attachment for optimal lateral thigh wellness support.

2. Secondary Placement

Location: L4 Center (lumbar spine)

Purpose: Supports nerve pathway wellness between IT band and lumbar spine through L4 lateral femoral nerve approaches for optimal lateral thigh function coordination.

Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array at the L4 vertebra level on the lower back, approximately one finger-width above the top of the hip bones (iliac crests). This targets the L4 nerve root level and lateral femoral cutaneous nerve origin that control lateral thigh function, creating comprehensive nerve pathway support for IT band wellness integration.

3. Tertiary Placement

Location: T5 Center (mid-thoracic spine)

Purpose: Supports central nervous system coordination for optimal IT band wellness through mid-thoracic respiratory pathway approaches and lateral chain stability.

Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array at the T5 vertebra level on the mid-back, approximately level with the middle of the shoulder blades. This provides mid-thoracic respiratory regulation and postural coordination that affects lateral chain stability and knee tracking function, enhancing overall IT band wellness integration.

Placement Guidance

The placement guidance above illustrates three PFE25™ positions associated with the anatomical area shown in the image at the top of this page. In each placement protocol, three PFE25™ arrays are intended to be used together in the positions shown.

Because every individual is different, you may find it helpful to experiment with slight adjustments to discover what feels most effective for you. In many cases, the primary placement is positioned directly over the anatomical area of focus, but this may vary since the body is a complex network of nerves and muscles.

The placement images show the PFE25™ array by itself, but it may also be used inside a small pillow, a waist pack, or with other products that do not interfere with magnetic fields.
