Anatomical Focus of This PFE25™ Protocol
The three thumbnails below display the PFE25™ placements for this protocol. At present, this is the only protocol available for this anatomic area.
This protocol is designed for use with three PFE25™ units at the same time.
This image shows three PFE25™ units being used simultaneously, following the placement instructions outlined in this protocol.
1. Primary Placement
Location: Left Outer Ankle (Lateral Malleolus Region)Purpose: Supports comfort and wellness in the lateral ankle area, addressing the outer ankle region where the fibula meets the ankle joint.
Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array directly over the bony prominence on the outer side of the left ankle. The array can be placed on the skin or up to 1 inch away, and works effectively through clothing and other non-magnetic materials. Position the center of the unit over the lateral malleolus, ensuring full contact with the skin. The unit should cover the area just below and around the outer ankle bone for optimal lateral ankle wellness support.
2. Secondary Placement
Location: Left L5 (Lower Lumbar Spine)Purpose: Supports the lumbar nerve pathway that serves the lateral ankle region, optimizing communication between the lower spine and outer ankle.
Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array on the left side of the lower back at the L5 vertebra level, approximately at the level of the top of the hip bones (iliac crest), slightly to the left of the spine centerline. This placement targets the L5 nerve root pathways that contribute to lateral ankle innervation, supporting the nerve connection between the lower back and outer ankle function.
3. Tertiary Placement
Location: T4 Center (Mid-Thoracic Spine)Purpose: Provides central nervous system coordination and balance support for optimal ankle function and stability.
Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array at the center of the upper-mid back at the T4 vertebra level, approximately between the shoulder blades, about 4 finger-widths below the prominent vertebra at the base of the neck (C7). This central placement provides mid-thoracic coordination, balance integration, and central nervous system support for overall ankle wellness and postural stability.
Placement Guidance
The placement guidance above illustrates three PFE25™ positions associated with the anatomical area shown in the image at the top of this page. In each placement protocol, three PFE25™ arrays are intended to be used together in the positions shown.
Because every individual is different, you may find it helpful to experiment with slight adjustments to discover what feels most effective for you. In many cases, the primary placement is positioned directly over the anatomical area of focus, but this may vary since the body is a complex network of nerves and muscles.
The placement images show the PFE25™ array by itself, but it may also be used inside a small pillow, a waist pack, or with other products that do not interfere with magnetic fields.
