Anatomical Focus of This PFE25™ Protocol

The three thumbnails below display the PFE25™ placements for this protocol. At present, this is the only protocol available for this anatomic area.

Supports left ball of foot comfort and weight-bearing through targeted metatarsal and lateral plantar nerve pathway approaches.
Placement Protocol llf14.3.1
This protocol is designed for use with three PFE25™ units at the same time.

This image shows three PFE25™ units being used simultaneously, following the placement instructions outlined in this protocol.
PFE25™ wellness placement overview for left ball of foot support

1. Primary Placement

Location: Left Ball of Foot (Metatarsal Region)

Purpose: Supports local metatarsal comfort and forefoot weight-bearing through direct ball of foot pathway wellness.

Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array over the ball of the left foot, focusing on the area just behind the toes where the metatarsal heads create the widest part of the foot. The array can be placed on the skin or up to 1 inch away, and works effectively through clothing and other non-magnetic materials. This placement targets the metatarsal heads, plantar fascia attachment, and lateral plantar nerve pathways for optimal forefoot comfort and weight-bearing support.

2. Secondary Placement

Location: Left L5 (Lower Back)

Purpose: Engages nerve pathway support between the lumbar spine and plantar foot muscles for comprehensive forefoot wellness.

Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array on the left side of the lower back at the L5 level, approximately at the belt line just above the pelvis. This placement targets the L5 nerve root pathways that contribute to plantar foot muscle innervation and lateral plantar nerve distribution, supporting the nerve connection between the lower back and ball of foot function.

3. Tertiary Placement

Location: T4 Center (Mid-Back)

Purpose: Provides central nervous system coordination and gait support for optimal forefoot function and stability.

Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array at the center of the mid-back at the T4 vertebral level, approximately level with the middle of the shoulder blades. This central placement provides mid-thoracic sympathetic regulation, gait coordination, and central nervous system integration to support overall ball of foot wellness and weight-bearing efficiency during walking and standing.

Placement Guidance

The placement guidance above illustrates three PFE25™ positions associated with the anatomical area shown in the image at the top of this page. In each placement protocol, three PFE25™ arrays are intended to be used together in the positions shown.

Because every individual is different, you may find it helpful to experiment with slight adjustments to discover what feels most effective for you. In many cases, the primary placement is positioned directly over the anatomical area of focus, but this may vary since the body is a complex network of nerves and muscles.

The placement images show the PFE25™ array by itself, but it may also be used inside a small pillow, a waist pack, or with other products that do not interfere with magnetic fields.
