Anatomical Focus of This PFE25™ Protocol
The three thumbnails below display the PFE25™ placements for this protocol. At present, this is the only protocol available for this anatomic area.
This protocol is designed for use with three PFE25™ units at the same time.
This image shows three PFE25™ units being used simultaneously, following the placement instructions outlined in this protocol.
1. Primary Placement
Location: Left Base of Thumb (Back)Purpose: Supports local thenar muscles, carpometacarpal joint, and radial nerve pathways for direct thumb base comfort and grip stability.
Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array over the back (dorsal) aspect of the left thumb base, centered at the thenar eminence where the thumb meets the hand. The array can be placed on the skin or up to 1 inch away, and works effectively through clothing and other non-magnetic materials. This placement targets the thenar eminence muscles and carpometacarpal joint for optimal thumb function and grip coordination support.
2. Secondary Placement
Location: Left C6 (cervical vertebra)Purpose: Interrupts nerve compression signals at cervical level, targeting nerve root pathways that innervate thenar muscles and radial nerve distribution to thumb.
Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array on the left side of the neck at the C6 level, approximately 1-2 finger-widths above the prominent C7 vertebra. This targets the C6 nerve root, which is the primary source of radial nerve innervation to thenar muscles and thumb extensor function for optimal grip coordination wellness integration.
3. Tertiary Placement
Location: T4 Center (thoracic vertebra)Purpose: Resets central nervous system coordination for mid-thoracic postural control and upper extremity fine motor optimization.
Positioning Guide: Position the PFE25™ array over the T4 vertebra at the center of the spine, approximately at the level of the upper chest region. This provides mid-thoracic postural regulation, sympathetic nervous system balance, and central coordination support for optimal thumb dexterity and grip function wellness integration.
Placement Guidance
The placement guidance above illustrates three PFE25™ positions associated with the anatomical area shown in the image at the top of this page. In each placement protocol, three PFE25™ arrays are intended to be used together in the positions shown.
Because every individual is different, you may find it helpful to experiment with slight adjustments to discover what feels most effective for you. In many cases, the primary placement is positioned directly over the anatomical area of focus, but this may vary since the body is a complex network of nerves and muscles.
The placement images show the PFE25™ array by itself, but it may also be used inside a small pillow, a waist pack, or with other products that do not interfere with magnetic fields.
